The Sketchbook Project

Steven and Sara Peterman opened the doors and many notebooks of The Sketchbook Project in Brooklyn. Each booklet represents a year out of one person's life; completely illustrated.

As a Lincoln Reimagine Project honoree, Steven Peterman will be enhancing the categorizing and tagging system to help people find the sketchbooks that might inspire them most, as well as moving his library system to be accessible by mobile app. He and Sara brought some of their collection to TEDActive and inspired the next wave of storytellers wanting to document their year. We created this film to help find their audience beyond the on-site activation.
